This Cookies Notice explains how Nemodatech Real Estate Solutions Limited (“Nemodatech”, “we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our websites and—where applicable—in our mobile apps. A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by your browser. Cookies help websites function, keep accounts secure, remember preferences, and measure usage so we can improve services.

Our mobile apps don’t use browser cookies, but they may use SDK identifiers (for example, a Firebase Instance ID or a push-notification token) that serve a similar purpose. For simplicity, we call all of these “cookies” in this notice. We only set non-essential cookies with your consent; you can withdraw consent at any time (see Control of Cookies?).

• Essential operation & security: Maintain sessions, route traffic reliably, prevent fraud/abuse, and protect your data (e.g., session and CSRF cookies).
• Preferences & functionality: Remember language, theme (light/dark), saved filters, and recently viewed items.
• Performance & analytics: Understand which pages/features are used, diagnose errors, and improve speed/UX (e.g., Google/Firebase Analytics).
• Communication & notifications: Manage push-notification tokens (FCM) and measure email delivery (open/click rate).
• Marketing (opt-in): Measure campaign effectiveness and show relevant promotions on or off our sites.
• Payments & fraud prevention: Secure checkout and meet anti-fraud obligations with our payment partners (e.g., Flutterwave).
• Maps, media & embeds: Third-party services (e.g., Cloudinary, Google Maps) may set their own cookies when you view their content.

We classify cookies by who sets them and what they do:

• First-party vs. Third-party: First-party cookies are set by Nemodatech; third-party cookies are set by a partner or an embedded service.
• Session vs. Persistent: Session cookies are removed when you close your browser; persistent cookies remain until expiry or manual deletion.

Categories we use

1. Strictly Necessary – required for the site/app to work.
2. Functional – remembers preferences and enhances features.
3. Performance/Analytics – aggregates usage statistics.
4. Advertising/Targeting – personalises or measures ads (consent).
5. Security/Fraud – protects accounts and payments.

1. Consent banner / Preferences Center: accept or reject non-essential cookies on first visit. Change your choice anytime via Cookie Settings.
2. Browser controls: block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Deleting cookies may log you out or disable features.
3. Analytics & ads opt-outs: install analytics opt-out add-ons or limit ad personalisation in your browser/platforms.
4. Mobile app controls: manage push notifications in app or device settings; reset/disable Advertising IDs; control location permissions.
5. Withdraw consent: if you previously consented, withdraw any time via Cookie Settings. We’ll stop setting those cookies going forward.

• Web beacons/pixels: tiny images/code confirming a page or email was opened—helps measure delivery and engagement.
• LocalStorage/SessionStorage: stores app state and preferences for speed and reliability.
• SDKs & device identifiers (apps): e.g., Firebase Instance ID and push tokens used to deliver notifications and analytics.
• Server logs & security: device/network signals to prevent abuse and combat fraud.

This Cookies Notice works together with our Privacy Notice, which explains what personal data we collect, legal bases (e.g., consent, legitimate interests, contract), who we share data with (service providers like hosting, analytics, and payments), international transfers, retention, and your rights under applicable laws (e.g., Uganda’s DPPA, GDPR, CCPA/CPRA where relevant).
